MEASURING Q2 2025

West Hollywood remains one of LA’s most prominent retail destinations, known for its high-end shopping corridors like Melrose Avenue and the Sunset Strip. Retail availability has risen to 10.7% in Q3, well above the 7.1% long-term average, due to declining international tourism and several longtime store closures this year. Single-tenant availability is now above 7%, while multi-tenant rates are steady near 11%.

Retail construction remains limited, with most new space coming from redevelopments and major renovations. Rents have dropped 2.7% over the past year, and five-year growth of 3.7% trails the broader LA market. Despite current challenges, West Hollywood continues to command some of the highest retail rents in the region.
