Joyce Sotero, Director of People Operations, brings over 25 years of Human Resources leadership to illi Commercial Real Estate, where she oversees all aspects of People Operations, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. Known for her strategic partnership with business leaders, Joyce plays a key role in aligning HR practices with company objectives to support growth, elevate culture, and mitigate risk.

Her career spans a wide range of industries and company sizes—from high-growth startups to Fortune 100 firms including Goldman Sachs and General Electric. Prior to joining illi, Joyce held senior HR leadership roles at Anderson Real Estate, Genesis Capital/Goldman Sachs, Hudson Pacific Properties, CenterCal Properties, and Arden Realty/GE Capital Real Estate.

Joyce earned her BA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and holds a Human Resources Management Certificate from UCLA. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), and Filipino in Institutional Real Estate (FIIRE).
